In episode #10 of the Groove Guru Podcast, I answer a question that is perhaps the most common question I've been asked by my students and clients who want to become professional in the music and creative industries, and that is: 'how do I get my foot in the door and have my first big break - how do I create such opportunities?'
One of the most powerful approaches I have found to authentically serve people is teaching by example, not just what I have heard from others and learned from books, audios and videos I've studied, and in GGP #10 I do this by telling the story of how I was asked to play with original frontman, singer, songwriter of The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwell.  I also share some key points of wisdom that I have accumulated along the way relating to creating more opportunities in the ways that you want to, whatever industry you want to work in.
